| So here are some pics of the day that Michael and I got engaged, hope you all enjoy them!!! it was at Plymoth plantation...thats why the indian and pilgrim pics...then we went on a dinner cruise on Boston harbor, sorry some of the pics are blurry, it was a lil dark out... then theres a pic of my ring at the end... thanks for all your prayers and love!! | So i know i havent been on here forever...please forgive me, but I just wanted everyone to know that i have entered a new face of life and depending on God... IM ENGAGED!!!... im very excited, and Michael Bare is amazing!..... God has blessed me so much.... the date we're planning on is May 17th....but please pray that I can plan this day, that I would not get frustrated or overwhelmed, but totally trust in God for every little detail... cause He's all I need... love you guys! ~amy lynn | | |
| so you all thought i disappeared huh? well, im still alive, dont worry, its just been a crazy year! amazing, but crazy! ive been going between new york campus and florida for collegians and being involved in transportation this quarter, driving for Open Air Evangelism to an from NYC and driving the ensemble over the weekends. Its been a challenging task trying to balance homework and work and being an RA and having a social life and trying to be a good girl friend and friend. I had an amazing time in Portugal for Missions Reality and being able to present it to my church to raise support and say thank you. its been fun thinking about the future, but not too much, since God can change anything He wants at anytime. we are all getting ready for this summer whatever camp we're on. im a unit leader for counselors on the island and i am so excited! i love my unit and am praying for each one of them... im also getting prepared for going to Appalachian Bible College in the fall, majoring in missions with an emphasis on language (yeah polish!) ......well that is a little update on my life, i cant guarantee the next time i update, but hopefully soon... love you all, stay strong, glorify God!!! | Sorry for no updating, but Ive been trying to keep priorities this quarter and xanga is a lot lower than homework and snowcamp and unit leading...so here's my life in a nutshell... Im at WOL Im unit leading and driving for snow camp Snow camp is amazing! I am going to the valentines banquet with my wonderful boyfriend who asked me when i was on nyquil which was REALLY funny! Amanda and I are planning a double date for our guys on sunday, and i am so excited! Im not as stressed about HW and school cause im getting stuff done, but that also means i cant hang out with my friends as much as i want, as they go over to elizabeths...(im so jealous heather!! lol) Im really appreciating quiet time and how it gets me closer to my Savior From snow camp chapel today i have a newfound desire to share the Gospel with people i meet, why should I hide the amazing Hope i have inside of me, i need to share it with the world!!! Missions Reality is going great, i need to start a journal about it though and get the rest of my thank you's out...thank you for all of you who have contributed...God is amazing and He does provide! (right Michael?) Well, thats it for now, hope that gives you a lil glimpse of my life, Candace if you read I miss you and Jake so much! and i have a package that i tried sending you, but it came back with the wrong address, so can you call me with the right one? lol.... so im in indiana finally! yeah! i got here around 8ish yesterday morning, and michael picked me up from th airport, then we went to his house, hung out, went to heather's grandparents house, stayed there for most of the afternoon, went back to his house, then went to pick up josh and met the Tims and then went to walmart, then finally went to Deb's house where im staying and talked with her for a while, then i finally got to crash on their wonderful guestroom bed! and that was all just one day! today we're going to make kapitka, a polish dish, at michaels grammas house and having dinner there, and tomorrow we're taking the train to chicago and then visiting my aunt and uncle, im so excited! and thats all i know, michael has everything planned, i just go along for the ride-its great! anyways, just a lil update, hope everyone had an amazing christmas, i know i did! got to spend time with my family- i love them! anyways, time to go, love you guys!!! ~amy | | |
